Nicola Moberg – Birthlight Tutor, Yoga Teacher & Studio Owner (Helsinki, Finland)
Nicola is originally from the Austrian Alps and has been teaching yoga since 2004. Her path to Birthlight began after the birth of her first child, when a challenging experience led her to seek out a more holistic and supportive approach to pregnancy and birth. In 2008, she found Birthlight and Francoise Barbira Freedman—and everything changed. With the tools of Birthlight, the birth of her second child became a deeply healing and empowering experience.
Nicola moved to Helsinki in 2009 and certified as a Purna Yoga teacher in 2012. With its foundation in Iyengar yoga and emphasis on alignment and awareness, Purna Yoga has complemented her Birthlight work beautifully. Since 2014, she has been assisting and teaching 200-hour yoga teacher trainings, and in 2017, she became the owner of Purna Yoga Helsinki.
As a tutor, Nicola shares Birthlight’s unique blend of scientific insight, embodied movement, and deep respect for the wisdom of each birthing journey. She offers teacher trainings, workshops, pre- and postnatal yoga, and retreats from her studio in Helsinki.
