Paola Milla León-Kääriä is from Peru. Working in the health and fitness industry for over twenty years she has had an interest in a healthy lifestyle, nutrition and well-being since a very young age. In addition to the body, physical activity has a positive impact on people’s mood, energy and mental health. “I want to inspire people to make changes in their lives and overall well-being to feel better and more balanced.”
Paola has been certified in fitness training and spinning in Peru and in Finland.nIn 2011 she got her certification as a Pilates instructor and this got her more interested in the mind-body connection which later developed further with yoga.
She is certified in children’s care, learning and development and has worked in a daycare in Helsinki since 2007. In 2016 she started introducing Pilates & yoga to kids to help them develop skills and enjoy their benefits.
“I want to give children the chance to experience yoga from an early age. Through play and storytelling I want to plant some seeds for the future.”
In order to gain further knowledge she started practicing yoga at Purna Yoga Studio in 2017.
“When the 200h teacher training was open in October 2017 I felt that it was a good chance for me to broaden my knowledge in well-being. My experience so far has been incredible. I started the training thinking mostly of the benefits of the body and it has been giving me much more than that. The yoga philosophy, Heartfull Meditation and nutrition has had a big impact on me. Yoga has made me change some things in my life and I’m very grateful for that. I feel it in my heart that this training was a path for me to follow and it’s making me feel complete”
