Gabriel comes from Chile. During his law studies in the University of Chile and traveling in India he discovered Yoga in Rishikesh, where he had the opportunity to study with Hatha Yoga teachers and get inspired. After continuous self practice in Chile and a 3 month teacher training, he decided to go back to India for further training in Rishikesh.
After the training Gabriel went to Nepal, where he started teaching yoga in a wildlife lodge, and he gained experience teaching the Nepalese people and the many tourists together with Eva.
Coming to Finland brought a big change in his practice, where he came across Purna Yoga and started attending classes regularly. “It changed my whole perspective of Yoga. I received such a beautiful, balanced, safe and integral teaching that inspired me to keep learning and embrace humility”. His experience brought him back to Helsinki where he has graduated from the 200-hour Purna Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 and continued his journey with the 500-hour training by Aadil Palkhivala and the Purna Yoga College.
“Since I came across yoga I knew that this was my path. Even though I had been studying for long I felt it was the right thing to do and today I feel happy and in peace to be able to share what I know with others. Yoga has gifted my life with balance, happiness and peace, and I am so grateful to the teachers of Purna Yoga for broadening my understanding of the path.”
