15:00 – 18:00
All healing happens in a peaceful state – a state of deep relaxation.
When is the last time you experienced this state? In this workshop you will learn tools to practice deep relaxation through supported postures, conscious breathing and guided visualisations. Deep relaxation is an important skill that calms the mind putting things back into perspective. It releases tensions in the body and helps us let go of stress and gives powerful and valuable time for you to truly hear yourself in this world that is so intensely with us. Take time to hear and heal yourself.

Saturday 10. November 2018
15:00 – 18:00
As the outer light starts to fade and give way to the calm and cozy fall/winter season, our bodies find it hard to adapt. One of the main symptoms that take place is fatigue, or the feeling of being tired all the time.
In this wonderful workshop, you will learn about how to deal with fatigue and tiredness, its causes (in mind and body) and how to prevent it in the future, as well as using the tools of Purna Yoga to create a lasting change. Among these tools, we will practice mostly assisted asana (with the help of the Great yoga Wall) plus twists, backbends and inversions. You will also learn specific techniques of Heartfull Meditation to create harmony in your being and redirect your energy. We will conclude with restorative poses, breathwork and deep Shavasana.
This workshop is open to all levels of experience, and the only requirements are a willingness to grow and change by understanding that you have the power to create the energy you need for this season.

Thursday 29.11 at 17.00 – 20.00 Ultimate Twist Practice 65€
If you do a good twist – one with proper physical mechanics, supportive breath work, appropriate intention, and a powerful focus – you will release tension in your spine and central nervous system, create a better brain/body connection, stimulate digestion and elimination, open your rib cage to receive a deeper breath, and expand your consciousness by opening to the truth of different perspectives. On the other hand, if you do a poor twist (which, unfortunately, most practitioners do), you only make the weakest part of your spine weaker.
In this fun and invigorating class, we will review proper twist technique in some simple twists, and then — layer by layer — begin to add deepening nuance, refinement, power and feeling as we move into some of the more unique and powerful twists in the repertoire. We will explore how far down and in to our bodies, minds, and spirits we can go, learning to release that which we no longer need in order to make room for that to which we aspire.
Modifications will be available if some of the more advanced twists are not available to your body, and, despite your level of twist ability, you will learn how to get the most of every twist you do.
Friday 30.11 at 16.30 – 19.30 Your Extraordinary Breath 65€
“For breath is life, and if you breathe well you will live long on earth.”
— Sanskrit Proverb
Yesterday, if you just sat around chilling out all day (you know, like all of us do), then you probably breathed somewhere in the neighbourhood of 17,280 breaths. If you had a busy day, it was significantly more. How many of those breaths do you remember? How many actually had a conscious purpose? How many did anything other than allow you to survive?
Consider your breath your biggest untapped physical resource, because it most likely is. By taking control of your breath, you can influence your stress levels, your heart rate, your mood, your focus, even your blood gas levels – really, your overall wellbeing. And it’s not in the least bit complicated.
In this class, we will explore how the breath works and open the body’s breathing apparatus so we can unlock the amazing powers of the breath. We will then learn different ways to apply the breath to dramatically enhance the effects of your asana practice, as well as how to use these skills in your daily life off the mat. We will end by reinforcing the connection between breath and spirit, which will allow you to make each breath an act of conscious evolution.
This is not a pranayama class. It’s more about how to breath all day, every day. You’re going to spend the rest of your life breathing; why not make each breath extraordinary?
Saturday 1.12 Saturday at 10.30 – 13.30 and 15.00 – 18.00 Mobility, Receptivity & Surrender 135€
This all-day workshop pairs deep, deep, DEEP openings in three major areas – hips, spine, and chest – with psychological transformation and spiritual evolution. Just working in the body is of no real value in the big picture; the difference between a jerk and a jerk with open hamstrings is negligible. Valuable change only occurs when we fill the space we make in the body with something more beautiful, wise and loving than it held previously. This evolution doesn’t just happen; it takes conscious choice, focused skill, and clarity of intention, all of which we will learn to cultivate as we work deeper into our bodies, minds and souls.
Sunday 2.12 at 10.30 – 13.30 Pincha Mayurasana: Empowerment through Joy 65€
This magnificent pose asks you to stand on your forearms instead of your feet. If your goal is only to do the pose, it’s just a circus trick (at a pretty low-level circus). If, however, you allow the pose to be your guru for a while, it will teach you much about your untapped potential, your deep well of internal resources, and the creative force inside of you that finds fulfillment through exploration.
In this workshop, we will dissect the pose element by element in a progression that has something (many things!) for everyone, regardless of your level of asana expertise. We will review how to align the body for safety and effectiveness, and then begin to build the foundational upper body strength and flexibility necessary to experience something other than struggle in the pose. We will end by moving through a thoughtful progression of modifications and prop work that will reveal to you exactly where you are in the pose, and what you need to work on to move towards pincha mayurasana mastery. As we work, we will also refine our ability to watch, to receive, and to grow.
Sunday 2.12 at 15.00 – 18.00 Discovering Your Inner Guidance through Heartfull Meditation 65€
All day, every day, we make decisions, and these decisions govern the quality of the life that we lead. As important as our choices are, the decision-making process is relatively unexplored for most of us. We make decisions based on habit, emotion, poor analysis of limited information, and subject to the pressures of a world that often does not have our best interests at heart. All the while, each of us holds inside a wise and loving counsel, ready to guide us in each moment. We only have to learn to access and listen to that inner voice throughout the day.
In this workshop, you will learn simple and effective techniques to turn inward, escape the noise of the world around you, and receive the guidance you already hold inside. You will learn where your wisest self resides (it’s not your gut!), how to communicate with it, and how to monitor the feedback it consistently gives you on your decisions. As you deepen your relationship with your inner guide, your decisions will become better, and, with your decisions, your life.

Each labour and birth is unique. Without creating expectations, in this course you will learn how to gain confidence for a positive unfolding of your birth.
To support the birthing process the pelvis needs to be opened to its maximum to allow the baby to pass through. Ease of movement and certain positions will facilitate this opening with the support of the partner. We will practice different birthing positions and learn how to use the breath effectively and for best results. The couple will be taught how to use sound to stimulate the labour and help to relax. Useful tips for the birthing partner are offered so he can be of natural assistance.
You will gain
Understanding of the baby’s birth journey through the pelvis and the psychosomatic mechanisms for releasing positive birth hormones
Ease of movement to make full use of gravity
Effective use of breath and sound
Relaxing through contractions and between contractions
Releasing birthing muscles and perineum to make way for the baby and stretch gently without fear
Birthing breathing. Creating a body memory for ‘exhale pushing’, or ‘birthing lightly’ without strain
Transforming fear into calm power in the transition to motherhood, using yoga resources to tap into the inner body wisdom accessible to all women
Group of 3 – 5 couples, 85€ per couple
For 2 couples, 105€ per couple
Private for 1 couple, 120€

Come and meet the King and Queen of yoga poses: Salamba Shirshasana (Headstand) and Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand) – 3 hours dedicated to these royally important inversions. You will find out all the basics, how to set up, how to work at the wall or on the floor, how to watch out for common errors and how to develop your inversion practice safely. The manifold benefits of these poses include reversing the effects of gravity in the body, flushing the upper body with blood, and cleaning the body of settled toxins. You will also learn fun information on why these two poses make the perfect match…
All students receive a comprehensive handout and there will also be time for questions and answers.
